If you have sensitive joints or spinal issues, or other structural issues or injuries, this class will support you with props and modifications. Learn where you have natural flexibility and strength and work to balance deficiencies. Slower or moderately paced, depending on class needs.
Designed to both energize the body and calm the mind, preparing you for the end of your work week, or the beginning of an easy weekend. This class will be composed of restorative sequences that blend supported supine, sitting and inverted poses that will gently stretch all the limbs and joints, and rejuvenate the circulatory system. We’ll maintain mindful awareness of the breath throughout, and a brief meditation will close our practice and set our intention for the day ahead.
Restorative yoga (minimal props, but feel free to bring your own!). Upstairs at the Cosmic Cafe is an intimate space used for meditation, yoga and special workshops. The adjoining rooms are carpeted and beautifully Yogic. This class is deeply meditative and is more weighted to finding openness and flexibility in the body than in strength work. 90-minutes, donation-based.
